Learning & Development
Good product leaders can often struggle to find the time needed for great talent development.
We help Amplify Learning by combining professional development, organizational improvement, and team building for a truly unique talent development experience.
A product leader
You are a product leader who wants to create a meaningful, unique, professional development experience for their people.
But between customers, internal stakeholders, launches, roadmaps, and the rest of your day job, you're also pretty busy.
And you could use a trusted partner that will work with you and your people to augment your talent development plans.
An interested learner
You have the desire to grow in your product role. And you see a similar need for teammates and peers around you.
But you don't want another drip-fed course or coach with yet-another-framework.
And you are willing to advocate for a learning experience that combines product skills with organizational improvement!
Why You'll Love This!
There are a LOT of coaching programs and training content out there.
But not too many that will simultaneously:
Help people set & accomplish their individual learning objectives
Create lasting improvements to your organization's product practices
Build teams and grow better working relationship between people
How we're different
We work with departments, groups, and teams to co-create a unique learning experience. Each individual defines a specific learning objective and then ties that to an improvement for the organization's product practices.
We blend one-on-one coaching, with small group interaction to achieve learning objectives and organizational improvement while building team cohesion.
How It Works
Every program lasts 8 weeks.
1. Program kick off
We all meet to level set about the program, commitment, and support.
Each learner typically needs 2-4 hours a week
Leadership agrees to support the time needed
Each learner is interviewed to understand learning objectives and to identify possible product practice improvements
2. Form groups
As a group, we all meet to review & update improvement ideas.
Learners select an improvement idea to focus on for the program that will best help them achieve their learning objective.
Then, program participants will form small learning and feedback groups based on complimentary improvements & learning objectives.
3. Plan, try, & reflect
Every two weeks, each small learning group meets at least twice to:
Help each other determine the best actions for the next two weeks
Provide feedback and ideas on previous actions taken
In addition to these meetings, each program participant will have a one-on-one coaching and consultation session.
4. Share & review
Throughout the program each participant will:
Track their key learnings & take aways
Assess progress and impact of improvements
Note meaningful moments and experiences
To close, we gather learners, leaders, and any other stakeholders and share out progress, challenges, learnings, and thoughts about the future.
